I actually stayed at the Motel 6 right near the Tropicana... not a bad distance at all, and I'm currently in love with Motel 6s... lots of desk room and I can park right in front of my room (no lugging bags). :) Vegas is so much fun, I can't wait to come back with a lot of friends!! hahahaha. Stay away from the South Side! Bit more dangerous than the middle and somewhat north, so I hear. I'm usually there with about 5 other guys, so we're not too cautious. We usually stayed at Bally's because it's right in the middle, right next to Bellagio, and good walking distance of stuff. There's a little food court with a subway which is where we ate to save money... not too far south of Bally's. Have fun. Alright now I’m jealous. I love that city. Stay away from the South Side!
