As a way to get more Amazon and Etsy shop ideas for products to sell and boost your sales, you can create and promote designs around special anniversaries and events.

I’ve talked about this strategy before, specifically referencing a total solar eclipse that happened a few summers ago. And several Low Hanging System members created designs about the event and saw success. For some people, sales continued even after the eclipse was over.

After seeing the success people had with their eclipse-related designs, one of the Facebook group’s moderators mentioned how “people *love* commemorative things,” and I couldn’t agree more. The moderator then came up with the idea to create designs and promotions for other special anniversaries and events happening throughout the year.

This is a great strategy to boost your sales, especially during the “slow-selling” periods, when not many of the commercialized, gift-giving holidays are happening.

And to help you get your wheels turning about new promotions and design ideas, I came up with a list of anniversaries and events happening in 2022 that you can use as inspiration.

I also talk about special evergreen “seasons,” including graduation and wedding season, which are other occasions that you can create promotions and design ideas for.

Just be mindful whenever you create design ideas for these anniversaries, seasons, and events that your designs don’t violate any copyrights. Always do your due diligence. And when in doubt, double-check.

To avoid copyright problems, though, instead of using teams’ or athletes’ names in your designs, you can use general sports-related images, such as helmets, balls, or team colors.
