I don’t know about you, but 2018 has been flying by for me. I can’t hardly believe that today is the Fourth of July.
I think it’s important, though, to pause at certain points throughout the year and take stock of how everything has been progressing. That way, you can make sure everything is on track. And if anything hasn’t been going well, you can course-correct.
So that’s why I decided now was a good time to do a mid-year review. And I wanted to share that with you.
In this post, I’m going to be completely transparent about…
- My monthly sales numbers for Amazon
- Which products sold best
- And how I’m preparing for the second half of the year.
Your results will obviously differ in some ways, but I think it’s useful to have a reference point and a basis for comparison if you decide to conduct your own mid-year review.
QUICK DISCLAIMER: I’m going to talk about only my print-on-demand Amazon income here. I’m not going to cover anything about my Etsy, eBay, private-label products, marketing courses, or warehouse earnings.
I think you’ll get the most from hearing about my Amazon progress, so that’s what I’m going to stick to.

That said, let’s dive into the review…

Here’s what I’m doing to make the second half of 2018 even better:
To keep my sales going strong during the second half of the year, I’m going to do a few key things:
(NOTE: Most of these things are repeats from other reviews I’ve written. But these are evergreen tactics to boost your traffic and sales.)
1. Send more products to FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon).
I love doing this because every mug that’s in FBA is one I don’t need to worry about fulfilling later.
Although having mugs in FBA isn’t necessary to succeed, it does boost conversions. People love buying things with the “Prime” label.
2. Create more designs.
Whenever anyone says they want more LHS sales, I tell them to make more designs.
The more designs you create, the more sales you make. It’s as simple as that.
I’ll be creating several more in the next few months to jumpstart my sales during the next few quarters (and beyond!).
3. I’ll continue looking for the best possible niches with SpotNiches.
I’m so in love with that tool.
It shows you what people want to pay for, but isn’t available for them to buy yet…
So that YOU can create the product and make the easy sales.
Those are my 3 big action steps.
And because I’ve designed my Jumpstart program to incorporate all of the most important elements in getting sales, each one of these is covered in my Done For You Jumpstart program.
And speaking of which…
Do you want my help for quarters 3 and 4?
I’m re-launching my Jumpstart Coaching Program for a limited number of people. It’s a high-end package that gives you everything you need to make quarters 3 and 4 incredible. The package includes…
- 200 done-for-you designs
- free mugs shipped to Amazon for you

- GearBubble credits

- and some behind-the-scenes looks at advanced strategies I’m testing out.
