Father’s Day is a big gift-giving holiday. People love showing the important men in their lives how much they love and appreciate them (this includes fathers, stepdads, grandpas, husbands, and even pet dads).
If you want to leverage the holiday to boost your sales, it’s time to get moving – Father’s Day is coming up on June 18th already. :)
(Don’t worry, though – I find that anything you do for Father’s Day can also help with year-round sales, then sales again for next year.)
Below you’ll find 7 highly sellable suggestions, along with several design ideas to help get your creative juices flowing.
1. Mugs
Funny mugs and sentimental mugs are always great go-to’s. You can go to UseGearBubble to create mugs and mockups that say things like…
“Dad, well done. I’m awesome.”
“100% pure Superdad”
“Best effin dad”
Or a variation on the simple, but classic “World’s Best Dad”

2. Funny Shirts
The same thing applies to shirts, which you can also create and ell on UseGearBubble . Some examples of designs you could put on t-shirts include…
“This is what an awesome dad looks like.”
“Keep calm it’s my first Father’s Day.”
“Dads were created because kids needed heroes.”

3. Beer Steins
I talk about beer steins more in depth in the Low Hanging System here. But if you’re not a member, beer steins are especially popular with men. And with at least 693 Amazon queries for “beer stein” but only 56,174 results, it should be pretty easy to rank for these if you’re selling them on Amazon.
That said, I would suggest going after keywords for “beer mug,” which has almost double the queries as “beer stein.” Plus, I noticed that the top two results for “stein” also have “mug” in the title.

You could use Amazon custom to do the first one. :)
4. Shot Glasses
Shot glasses also make great gifts for dads and grandpas. And, just like mugs and shirts, you can easily make shot glasses on UseGearBubble.com.

5. Something Other Than Print-On-Demand
If you don’t want to sell print-on-demand, don’t worry. You can always run a sale on whatever it is you sell with a Father’s Day-themed coupon code to whatever items you sell and get a boost in sales that way.
Here are some examples of Father’s Day coupon codes you could use:
FATHER
BESTDAD
DADLOVE
DADSDAY
FATHERSDAY
6. Monthly Mug Subscription
UseGearBubble has an option that lets you sell monthly mug subscriptions, which you could turn into a “Mug of the Month for Dad.”
So instead of buying just one mug, your customers can get a monthly mug subscription and gift the dads in their lives one new mug a month!
To create a monthly mug subscription, go inside Gear Bubble, click the “Launch Campaign” button, and select “Club” from the dropdown menu.
Then, just select whichever mugs that you’ve already launched on UGB that you’d want to include in the club. Don’t worry about coming up with twelve mugs at once – you only need to start with four.
7. A Custom Bundle
To make something really special, you could take a mug, a shirt, a shot glass, or a chain from your Etsy or Amazon listings and create a bundle, selling two or three of the items together as a “gift box” for dad. You could…
- Include all different funny phrases (i.e. each item has a different phrase or design on it)
- Offer a personalized option for each item
- Have the same design on all of the items (if the design is particularly funny or moving)
If you’re in LHS you can grab some mockups here. For example…
